Shearing Energetic Sheep Without Losing Wool

Prepare the Pen First

Build a fenced pen before you spawn anything. Use the Energetic Sheep Spawn Egg inside the pen so the sheep cannot wander off while you work. Keep a chest next to the pen and put every block of Energetic Wool into it as soon as you shear it. This keeps your inventory clear for the next sheep.

Hold Energetic Shears and right-click a sheep to shear it. The sheep drops its Energetic Wool block and stays in the pen. Do not kill the sheep — shearing is repeatable, and a live sheep will regrow its wool. Move to the next sheep and shear it the same way. Work through the whole pen in one pass, then start over from the first sheep once its wool has regrown.

Sorting by Color

Each sheep gives one color. As you shear, drop the block into the chest slot for that color. The sixteen colors are Energetic White Wool, Energetic Orange Wool, Energetic Magenta Wool, Energetic Light Blue Wool, Energetic Yellow Wool, Energetic Lime Wool, Energetic Pink Wool, Energetic Gray Wool, Energetic Light Gray Wool, Energetic Cyan Wool, Energetic Purple Wool, Energetic Blue Wool, Energetic Brown Wool, Energetic Green Wool, Energetic Red Wool, and Energetic Black Wool. If a chest fills up, place the overflow blocks directly in the world as temporary storage. Never leave sheared wool on the ground where it can despawn.
