Building a Colored Wool Wall with Energetic Wool

Gather the Colors You Need

Decide the pattern before you place any blocks. Pick the colors from the sixteen available: Energetic White Wool, Energetic Light Gray Wool, Energetic Gray Wool, Energetic Black Wool, Energetic Brown Wool, Energetic Red Wool, Energetic Orange Wool, Energetic Yellow Wool, Energetic Lime Wool, Energetic Green Wool, Energetic Cyan Wool, Energetic Light Blue Wool, Energetic Blue Wool, Energetic Purple Wool, Energetic Magenta Wool, and Energetic Pink Wool. Shear Energetic Sheep with Energetic Shears until you have enough blocks of each color for the wall.

Laying Out the Pattern

Energetic Wool is a placeable block, so build the wall the same way you would with any solid block. Start at one corner and place blocks row by row. Keep the color order consistent so the pattern reads clearly from a distance. If the wall is more than a few blocks tall, build from the bottom up and stand on the row below as you place the next one.

Fixing Mistakes

If you place the wrong color, break that block and replace it with the correct one. Because each color is a separate block, a misplaced block is obvious against its neighbors. Keep a stack of each color in your hotbar while building so you can swap a block without walking back to a chest. When the wall is done, walk to the far side and check the pattern from a distance before you move on to the next section.
