Converting Magentur Tiles Into Every Variant

The Stonecutter Route

Magentur Tiles are the parent block for the whole Magentur family. Put a stack of Magentur Tiles in your inventory, place a stonecutter, and open its interface. The stonecutter lists Magentur Slab, Magentur Stairs, Magentur Pillar, and Chiseled Magentur as outputs — each is a stonecutting recipe that consumes one Magentur Tile per operation.

This is the fastest way to get exactly the count you need. If a wall needs 40 slabs, cut 20 tiles into slabs and you are done, with no wasted byproduct.

The Crafting Table Route

Shaped crafting recipes also exist for the Magentur variants. Use the crafting table when you do not have a stonecutter nearby, or when a recipe yields more than one block per craft. Check the recipe book for the exact grid — the shaped recipes for stairs and slabs follow the standard patterns you already know from vanilla blocks.

Planning Your Cuts

Decide the build first, then cut. A typical wall uses Magentur Tiles as the field, Magentur Slab as the cap, Magentur Stairs at the roofline, Magentur Pillar at corners, and Chiseled Magentur as accents. Magentur Fence is crafted separately for railings and pens. Because every variant traces back to Magentur Tiles, overproducing tiles is never wasted — you can always re-cut them into whatever the next section of the build requires.
