Crafting the Enchanters Book

The Starting Craft

The Enchanters Book is the entry point for everything else in the mod. It is produced through a crafting_shaped recipe, meaning the arrangement of ingredients in the grid matters. Place your ingredients in the exact pattern the recipe calls for rather than scattering them.

Once crafted, the Enchanters Book is the item you carry to the Enchanter. It is not a finished enchantment on its own — it is the tool that lets you begin the enchanting process.

Moving From Book to Bottles

After you have the Enchanters Book, your next targets are the Enchanters Bottle and the Enchanters Experience Bottle. These are also made through crafting_shaped recipes. Craft both before you visit the Enchanter so you are not running back to a crafting table mid-process.

The flow is:

1. Craft the Enchanters Book.

2. Craft the Enchanters Bottle.

3. Craft the Enchanters Experience Bottle.

4. Take all three to the Enchanter.

The end goal of this chain is the Mob Enchant Book. Everything before it exists to get you there. Keep spare ingredients on hand, because you will likely want more than one Mob Enchant Book once you see how the process works.
