Switch Between Night Vision and Vanilla Darkness
Disable the Shader Temporarily
If you want to experience vanilla darkness without uninstalling, access your Video Settings and navigate to Shaders. Select "None" or "Off" to disable Emerald Night Glow entirely. Your world will revert to standard Minecraft lighting immediately.
Use a Separate Profile
Create a second game profile or launcher instance with the shader disabled. This lets you quickly switch between enhanced night vision and vanilla visuals without repeatedly toggling settings. Load whichever profile matches your current mood.
Re-enable When Ready
To restore Emerald Night Glow, return to Video Settings > Shaders and select the shader pack from your list. Your previous brightness and color adjustments will be remembered, so you won't need to reconfigure.
Consider Compatibility
If you're testing other visual mods or resource packs, disabling the shader helps isolate which mod is causing visual conflicts. This troubleshooting approach makes it easier to identify incompatibilities with other Minecraft modifications.
