Adjust Night Vision Brightness to Your Preference

Access Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on your launcher. Look for Emerald Night Glow in your active shader list.

Modify Brightness Controls

Within the shader options, locate the brightness or night vision intensity slider. This controls how much the green tint illuminates your surroundings during nighttime. Increase the value if caves and dark areas are still too dim; decrease it if the effect feels overwhelming.

Fine-Tune Color Saturation

Many shader packs include a saturation or color intensity setting. Adjusting this lets you make the green glow more or less pronounced without affecting overall brightness. A lower saturation creates a subtler effect; higher values produce a more vivid emerald tone.

Test Your Changes

Observe how your changes affect visibility and visual comfort. You can tweak values in real-time without restarting—most shaders reload settings instantly. Save your preferred configuration once satisfied.
