Setting Up the Ember Bore

Automation starts with the Ember Bore. Place it directly on top of an Ember Crystal block. The Bore will drill and produce Ember Shards. To collect them automatically, place a Bin adjacent to the Bore, or connect an Item Pipe from the Bore to a chest. The Bore outputs items on all sides except the top.

Powering Machines with Ember

Ember is the mod's energy. To move it, use the Ember Activator and Ember Receptor. The Activator pulls Ember from a source (like an Ember Crystal Cell) and pushes it to a Receptor. Connect them with Ember Pipes. The Receptor then powers machines like the Ember Funnel, Ember Injector, and Ember Bore itself.

Automating the Dawnstone Anvil

The Dawnstone Anvil can be automated with Item Pipes and Ember Pipes. Insert items into the Anvil's input slots via Item Pipes, and extract the output with another Item Pipe. You will need an Ember Activator to supply Ember to the Anvil if the recipe requires it. Use a Filter on the output pipe to prevent pulling out unprocessed items.

Expanding Your Setup

Once you have basic automation, add an Ember Crystal Cell to store excess Ember. Charge it at the Dawnstone Anvil using Ember Shards. Place the Cell next to an Ember Activator to distribute power. For large setups, use multiple Ember Receptors and Ember Activators to cover more machines. Always keep a buffer of Ember Shards in a chest for crafting.
