How to Use Air Ducts and Wooden Crates in EmbellishCraft

Air Duct

Air Duct is a decorative block for industrial and utility builds. Place Air Duct in straight runs along walls or ceilings to suggest ventilation. Because it is a full block, you can run it in lines, turn corners by placing blocks at right angles, and terminate a run against a wall or machine room. Use Air Duct alongside Andesite Tiles or Basalt Tiles to make the duct read as part of a technical ceiling.

Wooden Crate

Acacia Wooden Crate is the storage-style block for the wood set. Place Acacia Wooden Crate beside Acacia Table or Acacia Sturdy Table to create a workshop or storage corner. Because each wood type has its own crate, match the crate to the surrounding furniture: Acacia Wooden Crate with Acacia furniture, and the Birch equivalent with Birch furniture.

Combining both

A utility room can use Air Duct along the ceiling and Acacia Wooden Crate along the floor as storage. Add Andesite Bricks Wall or Basalt Bricks Wall behind the crates so the storage area has a solid backing.

Building tips

Run Air Duct in continuous lines rather than single isolated blocks. Group Acacia Wooden Crate in clusters of two or three next to a table. Use Andesite Button or Basalt Button on the wall nearby as a control panel detail.
