How to Use the Air Mill and Its Three Modes

Build the Air Mill

Place an Air Mill Grindstone, Air Mill Synthesizer, or Air Mill Wood Saw. Each is a separate Air Mill variant that performs a different processing job. All three consume Air element, so connect an Air Element Reservoir or Element Container through Element Pipe.

Pick the right variant

• Air Mill Grindstone grinds materials into dusts and powders.
• Air Mill Synthesizer combines or synthesizes inputs into new outputs.
• Air Mill Wood Saw cuts wood into planks and wood products.

Feed items in and pull results out. If output stalls, check that air is actually reaching the mill: verify the Element Pipe connection, open any Element Valve, and confirm the reservoir has air stored. Add an Element Pump if the run is long.

Automate output

Attach an Instrument Output Retriever to pull finished items from the mill automatically. Use Ordered Sorter to route different outputs to different chests. For higher demand, upgrade your air supply with Improved Element Pipe and Improved Element Extractor so the mill never waits on element. Keep a dedicated Air Element Reservoir next to the mill bank so grinding, synthesizing, and sawing can all run at once without starving each other.
