How to Smelt and Process Ores with Fire Equipment

Choose your furnace

Elemental Craft offers three fire-based processing blocks: Fire Furnace, Fire Blast Furnace, and Combustion Fire Synthesizer. The Fire Furnace handles standard smelting. The Fire Blast Furnace handles blast-style recipes. The Combustion Fire Synthesizer handles synthesizer recipes that consume fire element.

Supply fire element

All three need Fire element. Connect a Fire Element Reservoir or Element Container using Element Pipe. Use Element Valve to throttle flow and Element Pump for long runs. If fire runs dry mid-smelt, the block stops; refill the reservoir or add Capacity Shrine Upgrade for more buffer.

Purify and refine

Run raw ore through the Ore Purifier to get more usable material before smelting. For advanced fire materials, work toward Fireite Ingot by processing through fire equipment; Fireite Nugget and Fireite Block are the smaller and larger forms. Fireite Chisel and Drenched Iron Chisel are the chisel tools used on related blocks.

Related materials

Drenched Iron Ingot, Drenched Iron Nugget, and Drenched Iron Block come from water-side processing and pair with fire gear in later recipes. Drenched Saw Blade is used where a saw component is required. Keep fire and water networks separate so each machine gets the element it needs.
