How to Set Up Element Sources and Breeders

Plant your first source seeds

Element sources begin with Source Seeds: Air Source Seed, Earth Source Seed, Fire Source Seed, and Water Source Seed. Plant a seed to grow an element source of that type. Each source produces its element over time.

Breed and store elements

To multiply sources, place an Element Source Breeder and set Element Source Breeder Pedestal blocks around it. The breeder uses pedestals to generate additional sources from existing ones. Route the produced element into storage using Element Pipe and Improved Element Pipe.

Store elements in Element Container, Air Element Reservoir, Earth Element Reservoir, Fire Element Reservoir, or Water Element Reservoir, depending on the element. Use Element Valve to control flow and Element Pump to push element through long pipe runs. Element Diffuser spreads element to multiple destinations, and Ordered Sorter helps direct output where you want it.

Manage capacity and flow

If pipes back up, add Capacity Shrine Upgrade to increase storage, and use Element Extractor or Improved Element Extractor to pull element out of reservoirs on demand. Element Binder and Improved Element Binder let you bind element to items for crafting. Keep each element type on its own pipe network to avoid mixing.
