How to Move Elements with Pipes, Valves, and Pumps

Lay the pipe network

Start with Element Pipe. Connect the source (an Element Extractor or Improved Element Extractor on a reservoir) to the destination (an Element Infuser, Element Binder, mill, or furnace). Use Improved Element Pipe for higher throughput runs.

Control the flow

Insert Element Valve anywhere on a pipe to open or close that segment. Use Element Pump to push element across long distances where passive flow is too slow. Element Diffuser splits one input into multiple outputs, and Ordered Sorter routes outputs in a defined order. Pipe Cover Frame hides pipe runs for cleaner builds.

Bind and store

Element Binder and Improved Element Binder bind element onto items for crafting. Element Container, Air Element Reservoir, Earth Element Reservoir, Fire Element Reservoir, and Water Element Reservoir hold element at the endpoints. Creative Element Container provides unlimited element for testing setups.

Troubleshooting

If a machine gets no element, check in order: reservoir has element, Element Valve is open, Element Pump is powered and oriented correctly, and the pipe actually touches the machine's input face. Keep each element on its own network so air, earth, fire, and water never mix. Add Capacity Shrine Upgrade if buffers fill too fast.
