Adjust Shader Intensity for Your Hardware
Choose the Right Profile
Eerie Craft Shaders includes preset profiles designed for different PC capabilities. Access the shader settings through your video options menu and locate the profile selector. Select Medium if you're running a mid-range GPU or want to preserve frame rate during exploration. Choose High only if your system handles demanding graphics without stuttering.
Fine-Tune Individual Settings
Within your chosen profile, you can adjust specific features:
- Shadow Quality: Lower this if caves and night scenes cause frame drops
- Bloom Intensity: Reduce the glow effect around torches and lava if performance suffers
- Foliage Movement: Disable or lower animation detail if trees and grass cause lag
- Lighting Complexity: Toggle semi-realistic lighting to balance mood with performance
Test Your Changes
After adjusting settings, spend 2–3 minutes in a dark cave or at night to confirm the visual mood remains eerie while maintaining playable frame rates. Revert any setting if you notice stuttering or lag spikes.
