Customizing Foliage and Grass Colors

Open Shader Configuration

Access your shader pack settings through the mod menu. Find the color customization or foliage section within Eerie Alpha Glow's options.

Adjust Vegetation Tones

The shader applies retro alpha-style colors to grass, leaves, and plants. You can typically modify:

  • Grass color: Shift between the classic bright green of early Minecraft versions or desaturate it for a sicker, more eerie tone.
  • Leaf color: Adjust foliage to appear more washed-out, blue-tinted, or vibrant depending on your preference.
  • Saturation levels: Reduce color intensity for a more faded, haunting look, or increase it for more vivid retro aesthetics.

Preview Changes

Walk through a forest or grassy area to see how your adjustments affect the overall mood. The alpha-style coloring works best when it feels consistently "off"—slightly wrong compared to modern Minecraft. Experiment with desaturation to enhance the eerie atmosphere, or boost saturation if you prefer a more vibrant retro feel.
