Adjusting Fog Density and Color

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (typically accessed through your mod menu or by pressing a dedicated key). Look for the Eerie Alpha Glow profile in your active shader list.

Modify Fog Parameters

Locate the fog-related settings, which typically include:

  • Fog thickness: Controls how dense the blue fog appears. Lower values reduce fog coverage; higher values create a thicker, more oppressive atmosphere.
  • Fog color: Adjust the blue tone to shift between cooler (more cyan) or warmer (more purple) hues.
  • Fog distance: Changes how far you can see before fog obscures the landscape.

Apply and Test

After adjusting values, apply the changes and load into your world. The fog effect updates in real-time. Test during different times of day—fog appearance varies between daylight and night. If the effect feels too intense, reduce density gradually. For a more subtle horror mood, lower the fog thickness while keeping the blue color saturation.
