How to Use the Converter to Turn Villagers into Other Mob Types

Placing and Powering the Converter

Place the Converter block down and right-click it to open its interface. Put a Villager into the input slot. The Converter processes the Villager into a different villager-related output depending on what you feed it.

Practical Uses

Use the Converter when you want to change what a Villager is without hunting down a new one. Because the Villager is a registry item in this mod, you can move Villagers between blocks freely: take a Villager out of a Breeder or Trader, drop it into the Converter, and collect the converted result. Keep spare Villagers on hand so you always have input ready. If a conversion stalls, check that the input slot actually holds a Villager and that any required secondary items are present in their slots.

Moving Results Around

Once conversion completes, the output can be pulled out and placed into other blocks such as the Trader, Auto Trader, Farmer, or Iron Farm. This lets you chain blocks together: breed Villagers, convert the ones you do not want, and route the ones you do want into trading or farming blocks. Always empty the output slot before starting another conversion so the block does not back up.
