How to Craft Tree Axes for Fast Log Harvesting

What a Tree Axe Does

A Tree Axe fells an entire tree from a single log break. Available tiers: Diamond Tree Axe, Emerald Tree Axe, Golden Tree Axe, Iron Tree Axe, Netherite Tree Axe, Ruby Tree Axe, Amethyst Tree Axe, Copper TreeAxe, and Obsidian Tree Axe. Each is made with the crafting_shaped recipe type using that tier's material. The Tree Axe also functions as a normal axe for combat and crafting.

Crafting Steps

Gather the material for your chosen tier. For an Iron Tree Axe, collect iron ingots and sticks, then arrange them in the axe pattern at a crafting table. For a Ruby Tree Axe, mine Ruby and craft it into the axe shape. For an Emerald Tree Axe, use Emerald. For a Netherite Tree Axe, upgrade a Diamond Tree Axe using a smithing_transform recipe with a Tool Smithing Template and Netherite.

Using the Tree Axe

Stand at the base of a tree and break the lowest log. The Tree Axe propagates the break upward through connected logs. This clears forests quickly for wood farming. Repair with the matching material on an anvil. Carry a Tree Axe alongside a Paxel for full coverage of wood and stone tasks.
