How to Craft and Use a Paxel

Crafting the Paxel

A Paxel combines axe, pickaxe, and shovel functions in one tool. Craft it from the material tier you have available: Wooden Paxel is not listed, but Iron Paxel, Golden Paxel, Diamond Paxel, Netherite Paxel, Emerald Paxel, Ruby Paxel, Amethyst Paxel, Copper Paxel, and Obsidian Paxel all exist. Each is made through the crafting_shaped recipe type using that tier's base materials. For example, an Iron Paxel uses iron ingots arranged in a tool-shaped pattern. Higher tiers require their respective materials — Ruby Paxel needs Ruby, Emerald Paxel needs Emerald, and Obsidian Paxel needs Obsidian.

Using the Paxel

Equip the Paxel in your main hand. It mines stone, dirt, wood, and other blocks that would normally require separate tools. This saves inventory space on long mining trips. Repair it with the matching material on an anvil, or combine two damaged Paxels of the same tier. The Netherite Paxel is upgraded from the Diamond Paxel using a smithing_transform recipe with a Tool Smithing Template and Netherite. Use the Paxel as your primary tool when you want one item to handle most block-breaking tasks.
