Crafting the Flingshot

The Flingshot is your ranged tool. Build it at a crafting table using a shaped recipe. Gather the components first: a Copper Buck and a Madder Buck are both craftable items you will need along the progression, and Primordial Redstone is the mod's core material. Combine the required items in the shaped pattern to produce the Flingshot.

Using It

Hold the Flingshot and fire it like a projectile launcher. It pairs naturally with Shimmer Shell, which you can obtain and carry as ammunition or a related component. Keep Primordial Redstone on hand so you can keep crafting more.

Getting the Materials

Primordial Redstone is the base resource. Once you have raw Primordial Redstone, you can compress it into a Block of Primordial Redstone using a shaped recipe, or use it directly in other recipes. The Copper Buck and Madder Buck are intermediate crafted items — make them before attempting the Flingshot so you are not short on parts.

Practical Tips

Craft a Block of Primordial Redstone for compact storage instead of carrying stacks of loose Primordial Redstone. When you head out to use the Flingshot, bring spare Shimmer Shell so you do not run dry mid-fight.
