How to Get Rainbow Wool, Rainbow Carpet and a Rainbow Bed

Rainbow Wool is the base material for the other two rainbow blocks, so make it first.

Crafting the rainbow set

1. Obtain Rainbow Wool. This is the starting point for the whole set.

2. Place Rainbow Wool in a crafting grid to produce Rainbow Carpet.

3. Combine Rainbow Wool with the ingredients for a bed to produce a Rainbow Bed.

All three are shaped crafting recipes, so arrange the ingredients in the grid pattern the recipe shows rather than dropping them in randomly. If a recipe does not appear in your recipe book, check that you are using Rainbow Wool and not ordinary wool.

Using the blocks

Rainbow Carpet behaves like normal carpet: place it on top of a solid block to cover the floor. Rainbow Bed works like any other bed — place it on a solid floor with space above, then use it at night or during a thunderstorm to skip to morning and set your spawn point.

Rainbow Wool can also be placed as a decorative block on its own, so you do not have to convert every piece. Keep a stack of Rainbow Wool aside if you want to craft more carpet or beds later, since both recipes consume it.
