How to Craft and Place Neon Lights and Lanterns

Neon Light Colors

Dustrial Decor includes a full neon light set. The available colors are Red Neon Light, Orange Neon Light, Yellow Neon Light, Green Neon Light, Cyan Neon Light, Blue Neon Light, Purple Neon Light, Pink Neon Light, and Rainbow Neon Light. There is also a Black Light for a dark, non-glowing fixture look.

Craft the color you want and place it on walls or ceilings as a light source. Because every color shares the same block shape, you can run a single strip along a corridor and swap colors block by block to spell out signs or mark different rooms.

Lanterns and Redstone

For hanging light, use Large Lantern, Large Soul Lantern, and Large Redstone Lantern. These are the oversized variants, so they suit high ceilings and warehouse bays better than a standard lantern. Redstone Lantern is the smaller redstone-lit version.

Use Large Redstone Lantern where you want a light that responds to redstone, and plain Large Lantern or Large Soul Lantern for constant illumination. A common pattern is a row of Large Lanterns down the center of a factory floor, with colored Neon Lights along the walls to zone the space. Keep Black Light for areas where you want a fixture that does not wash out the neon colors nearby.
