Enable Custom Biome Water Colors with Polytone

Prerequisites

You'll need both the Dungeons Water Resource Pack and Polytone installed and loaded together. Polytone must be placed after the resource pack in your load order so it can apply color overrides.

Setup Steps

1. Launch Minecraft with both mods active

2. Create a new world or load an existing one

3. The resource pack will automatically apply Dungeons-style water textures

4. Polytone will detect the pack and apply biome-specific water tints on top

What to Expect

Once both are loaded, water will display unique colors based on your biome:

  • Swamps will show greenish tints
  • Oceans and deep water areas will appear deeper blue
  • Warm biomes may display lighter, more tropical water colors

If colors don't appear, verify Polytone is loading after the resource pack in your mod list. The combination creates the authentic Minecraft Dungeons water appearance across all biomes while maintaining the vibrant, saturated look of the base pack.
