Make Your Cave System Look Consistent with Dungeons Stone
Identifying Which Blocks to Replace
The Dungeons Stone Resource Pack updates all stone-based blocks in your world. This includes:
- Standard stone blocks
- All ore blocks (coal, iron, copper, gold, diamond, emerald, redstone, and lapis)
- Deepslate variants in deeper caves
- Stone stairs, slabs, and walls
Applying the Texture Throughout Your Cave
1. Enable the resource pack in your world settings before exploring or building
2. Explore existing caves — all exposed stone will automatically display the new Dungeons-style texture
3. Mine and place new stone blocks to refresh older cave sections that feel visually inconsistent
4. Use stone variants like polished stone or stone bricks if you want subtle texture breaks while maintaining the cohesive look
5. Check ore visibility — the updated ore textures will stand out clearly against the new stone background, making resource gathering easier to spot
Tips for Best Results
The pack works best in large open cave systems where the uniform stone texture creates visual depth. If your caves mix old and new chunks, re-exposing stone surfaces will unify the appearance. The consistent gray tone also pairs well with traditional cave decorations like torches and lanterns.
