Applying Armor Trims With the Dungeons Plus Mod

Available Trims

The mod registers five armor trims: Bone Armor Trim, Frigid Armor Trim, Tower Armor Trim, Twisted Armor Trim, and Wailing Armor Trim. Each is applied to a piece of armor to change its appearance.

Applying a Trim

Take your trim and the armor piece you want to modify to a smithing table. Place the trim template, your armor piece, and the required material in the smithing table slots. The output slot shows the trimmed armor. Pull it out to finish.

Repeat for each armor piece — helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots — if you want a matching set.

Choosing a Theme

  • Bone Armor Trim: bone-themed set, good for undead or desert builds.
  • Frigid Armor Trim: cold-themed set, pairs with the Frosted Cowl.
  • Tower Armor Trim: tall-structure theme, fits castle or fortress bases.
  • Twisted Armor Trim: warped theme, suits nether or corrupted builds.
  • Wailing Armor Trim: haunting theme, matches soul or spirit aesthetics.

Managing Materials

Trims consume the template and the material each time you apply them. Gather enough copies before you start a full set. Keep your smithing table next to a chest holding spare trims and armor so you can reapply quickly after losing gear.
