Fix Missing Shader Effects After Installing the Pack
Check for Conflicting Mods
Duck Toons Shader RP won't display its visual effects if you have certain performance mods active. The pack is incompatible with Iris and Sodium—these mods override the resource pack's rendering and prevent the shader-like visuals from appearing.
Steps:
1. Open your mods folder and locate Iris and Sodium
2. Move them out of the mods folder or disable them in your mod manager
3. Restart Minecraft completely
4. Load a world and check if the vibrant colors, glowing effects, and colorful skies now appear
Verify the Pack is Active
If you've removed conflicting mods but still see no changes:
1. Go to Options → Resource Packs
2. Confirm Duck Toons Shader RP appears in the "Selected" column (right side)
3. If it's in the "Available" column instead, click it and select the arrow to move it to active packs
4. Close the menu and reload your world
The pack should now transform your world with bright, cartoony visuals and shader-like lighting without requiring actual shader mods.
