How to Grow and Harvest Hemp, Lavender, and Elderflowers

Planting and Growing

Obtain Hemp Seeds and plant them on farmland. Hemp grows into a tall crop you harvest with a Bone Sickle or Knife for maximum yield. Lavender and Elderflower are gathered from the world and can be replanted where the mod allows.

Elder trees drop Elderberries and Elderflower. Replant Elder Sapling to grow new Elder Log trees, then harvest Elder Leaves, Elder Wood, and Elder Log for building. Darkwood Sapling works the same way for Darkwood Log, Darkwood Wood, and Darkwood Leaves.

Processing Your Harvest

Turn Elderberries into Elderflower Cordial for a drinkable item. Combine Elderberries with apples and other ingredients to bake an Apple-Elderberry Crumble. Use Blueberries for a Blueberry Muffin.

Decaying Elder Fruit is a distinct block — handle it separately from fresh Elderberries. Use a Knife on plant blocks to collect clean cuttings rather than breaking them bare-handed, which preserves more of the harvest. Store bulk crops in a Crate to keep your inventory clear while farming.
