How to Craft Every Color of Flare

One Recipe, Sixteen Colors

Every flare in the mod is made with a shapeless recipe, so the arrangement of ingredients in the grid does not matter. Place the required items anywhere in the crafting grid and the flare appears in the result slot.

The sixteen flares are: Black Flare, Blue Flare, Brown Flare, Cyan Flare, Gray Flare, Green Flare, Light Blue Flare, Light Gray Flare, Lime Flare, Magenta Flare, Orange Flare, Pink Flare, Purple Flare, Red Flare, White Flare, and Yellow Flare.

Crafting in Practice

Because the recipe is shapeless, you can drag ingredients into any slot. If you are producing many flares at once, keep a stack of each ingredient in your inventory and craft repeatedly rather than rearranging the grid each time.

If a flare does not appear in the result slot, the ingredient combination is wrong for that color. Check the specific color you want against its recipe before adding more items. Do not mix colors in a single craft — each flare has its own recipe and produces only its own color.

Once crafted, flares stack in your inventory like any other item, so you can carry several colors at once without using extra slots per flare.
