How to Craft the Keyblade and Keypick of Mysteries

Gather the Base Materials

The Keyblade and Keypick of Mysteries are both shaped crafting recipes. You need the same core ingredient for each: a Boss Key. Boss Keys are the reward item tied to the Boss Lock block, so secure at least one Boss Key before you start crafting tools.

Crafting the Keyblade

Place your Boss Key into a shaped crafting grid together with the supporting materials the recipe calls for. The Keyblade is the melee option of the key-themed tool set, so craft it first if you plan to fight your way through a tower.

Crafting the Keypick of Mysteries

The Keypick of Mysteries uses the same shaped recipe type. Combine a Boss Key with the pickaxe-shaped arrangement of materials in the crafting grid. Once crafted, the Keypick of Mysteries serves as your mining tool for breaking through tower interiors.

Plan Your Keys

Each tool consumes a Boss Key, so decide how many Keyblades and Keypicks of Mysteries you want before spending keys. If you only have one Boss Key, pick the tool that matches your next task — combat or excavation. Keep spare Boss Keys in a chest near your Boss Lock so you can craft replacements without returning to the tower.
