How to Craft and Wear the Full Key Armor Set

The Five Armor Pieces

The key armor set consists of Keyhelmet, Keyplate, Keylegs, and Keyboots. Each piece is produced with a shaped crafting recipe. Together they form a complete four-slot armor set.

Crafting Each Piece

Craft the Keyhelmet first using the helmet-shaped arrangement in the crafting grid. Follow with the Keyplate for the chest slot, Keylegs for the legs, and Keyboots for the feet. Each recipe is shaped, so the position of materials in the grid matters — mirror the standard armor layout for the slot you are making.

Equipping the Set

Open your inventory and place Keyhelmet in the helmet slot, Keyplate in the chest slot, Keylegs in the legs slot, and Keyboots in the boots slot. Wearing all four pieces gives you the full defensive benefit of the set.

Repair and Replacement

If a piece wears down, craft a replacement rather than mixing in unrelated armor. Keep spare materials in a chest near your crafting table so you can rebuild a damaged piece quickly. Store the full set together when not in use so you never leave a slot empty before entering a tower.
