How to Craft Tall Cherry and Bamboo Doors

Cherry Doors

Cherry wood produces Short Cherry Door and Tall Cherry Door. Craft the short door from cherry planks in a shaped recipe, then upgrade it to the tall version by placing the short door in the center of a crafting grid surrounded by cherry planks. The tall door needs two blocks of vertical space.

Bamboo Doors

Bamboo works the same way. Craft a Short Bamboo Door from bamboo planks, then combine it with bamboo planks in a grid to make a Tall Bamboo Door. Bamboo planks come from processing bamboo blocks at a crafting table.

Sawmill Processing

Both cherry and bamboo can be run through a woodworks sawmill to produce door components. This is handy when you are converting a large stack of logs into doors and want to skip the manual grid arrangement.

Build Tips

Tall Cherry Door pairs well with cherry planks, logs, and stripped logs for a warm-toned entryway. Tall Bamboo Door suits bamboo block and bamboo plank builds. Use the Short variants in one-block openings, such as closet doors or narrow passages, and the Tall variants for main entrances. Both open with right-click and accept redstone at the lower block.
