How to Craft and Use the Dragon Beacon

Building the Beacon

Place a Dragon Beacon and feed it a Dragon Memory for Beacons to store its target data. The Beacon Activator is the block you interact with to trigger the beacon's effect once it is set up. Keep Dragon Soul nearby as fuel or activation material — it is the core resource tied to beacon and altar progression.

Powering and Activating

1. Craft or obtain a Dragon Beacon and a Dragon Memory for Beacons.

2. Place the Dragon Beacon, then place the Beacon Activator adjacent or on top so you can reach both.

3. Insert the Dragon Memory for Beacons into the beacon to define what it points to.

4. Supply Dragon Soul to the setup.

5. Right-click the Beacon Activator to fire the beacon.

Dragon Heart Shard and Elder Dragon Heart are higher-tier materials you will want on hand if your beacon chain requires them. If the beacon does not respond, confirm the Dragon Memory for Beacons is loaded and that Dragon Soul is present. Use the Dragon Beacon as your navigation or buff anchor point, and keep spare Dragon Memory for Beacons items so you can retarget without dismantling the block.
