Cooking Dragon Treats and Charred Food

Treat Types

Dragon Treats come in three variants: Cave Dragon Treat, Forest Dragon Treat, and the base treat line. These are used to interact with or feed dragons. Charred food is produced by cooking: Charred Meat, Charred Mushroom, Charred Seafood, and Charred Vegetable.

Cooking Charred Food

1. Gather raw ingredients — meat, mushrooms, seafood, or vegetables.

2. Use a furnace (smelting), campfire (campfire_cooking), or smoker (smoking).

3. Cook until the item converts to its Charred form: Charred Meat, Charred Mushroom, Charred Seafood, or Charred Vegetable.

4. Store charred food separately from normal cooked food.

Using Treats

Craft Cave Dragon Treat and Forest Dragon Treat at a crafting table using the mod's treat recipes. Match the treat to the dragon type you are working with — Cave Dragon Treat for cave-related dragons, Forest Dragon Treat for forest-related dragons. Keep Dragon Soul and Dragon Heart Shard nearby if your treat interaction triggers a dragon event. Charred Soup and Charged Soup are related consumables worth preparing alongside treats if your dragon interactions require feeding multiple items.
