Dragon Mounts Legacy Egg and Spawn Egg Reference

The eight dragon types

Every dragon type has a matching Dragon Egg block and a matching Dragon Spawn Egg item. Use the block to hatch naturally, or the Spawn Egg to place a dragon directly.

Choosing a type

Match the dragon to where you play. Fire and Nether dragons suit hot areas, Ice suits cold areas, Water suits oceans, Forest suits woods, Aether suits the sky, Ghost suits the dark, and End suits the End. Place the matching Dragon Egg block in that environment to hatch it, or use the matching Dragon Spawn Egg to get that dragon immediately. From there, feed the dragon to adulthood, tame it, and ride it.
