How to Use Fusion Crafting in Draconic Evolution

Setting Up the Core

Place a Fusion Crafting Core. Around it, place Fusion Crafting Injectors — Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector, Wyvern Fusion Crafting Injector, Draconic Fusion Crafting Injector, or Chaotic Fusion Crafting Injector. Each injector holds one ingredient for the recipe. The tier of injector determines which recipes it can handle; higher-tier recipes need higher-tier injectors.

Running a Recipe

Insert the required ingredients into the injectors and the core. Supply energy to the Fusion Crafting Core — it draws from your energy network via Energy Pylons or directly from a connected Energy Core. Once powered and loaded, the craft begins and produces the output in the core.

Fusion crafting recipes include Awakened Draconium Ingot, Draconic Core, Wyvern-tier components, Draconic-tier components, and Chaotic Core. Many advanced items — Chaotic Sword, Chaotic Pickaxe, Chaotic Staff of Power, Chaotic Capacitor, Draconic Capacitor, and the Chaotic armor pieces — require fusion crafting at the appropriate tier.

Progression Order

Begin with Draconium Ingot from smelting. Craft a Draconium Core, then use fusion crafting to produce a Wyvern-tier core, then a Draconic Core, and finally a Chaotic Core. Each step needs the previous tier's materials plus energy. Awakened Draconium Ingot is produced through fusion crafting and is required for Chaotic-tier gear. Keep your Energy Core large enough to supply the energy cost of each fusion craft.
