How to Start Draconic Evolution: Mining Draconium

Find and mine the ore

Draconium Ore generates in the Overworld, Ender Draconium Ore in the End, and Nether Draconium Ore in the Nether. Deepslate Draconium Ore appears in deepslate layers. Mine these with a pickaxe to obtain Draconium Dust. Smelt Draconium Dust to get Draconium Ingot.

Build your first machines

Combine Draconium Ingot into Draconium Block for storage or decoration. Craft a Draconium Core, which is the base component for most Draconic Evolution machines. Use the Draconium Core to build a Generator for early power, and a Fusion Crafting Core for advanced recipes.

Set up basic power

Place a Generator and feed it fuel to produce energy. Attach a Basic Energy I/O Crystal to a machine to move power in or out. Use Basic Energy Relay Crystal to extend the network, and Basic Wireless Energy Crystal to send power without cables. Upgrade to Wyvern, Draconic, and Chaotic tiers of these crystals as you progress.

Get your first tools

Craft a Draconium Infused Obsidian by combining Draconium and Obsidian. Use it with Draconium Ingot to craft Wyvern-tier tools and armor. These are the entry point for modules and upgrades. Once you have a Wyvern tool, you can begin installing modules to customize it.
