Locating Dinosaurs with Resource Pack Skins

Once the Dinosaur King resource pack is installed, all dinosaurs spawned by the Fossils and Archeology Revival mod will automatically display their themed skins. You don't need to do anything special—the pack reskins creatures as they appear.

Where to Find Each Dinosaur

Different dinosaurs spawn in different biomes and conditions:

• Triceratops (Chomp) and Stegosaurus typically spawn in grassy or temperate areas
• Tyrannosaurus (Terry) and Allosaurus prefer open plains and savannas
• Spinosaurus (Spiny) spawns near water and swamp biomes
• Parasaurolophus (Paris) appears in forests and jungle-adjacent areas
• Velociraptor hunts in packs across various terrain
• Pteranodon, Pachyrhinosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus have their own biome preferences
• Plesiosaurus (Futaba) spawns exclusively in deep water

Confirming the Skins

Look for the distinctive colors: Chomp's yellow markings on orange, Terry's red body with yellow stripes, Spiny's purple sail with blue patterns, and Paris's light green skin with blue head crest. If dinosaurs appear in their default colors, verify the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack menu.
