Crafting the Dimensional Chest

Place a Dimensional Core in the center of a crafting table grid. Surround it with eight Dimensional Wall blocks, one in every remaining slot. The output is a single Dimensional Chest. If you do not yet have a Dimensional Core, craft one first, then craft Dimensional Wall blocks to complete the ring.

Storing and Retrieving Items

Place the Dimensional Chest down and open it. Any items you insert are stored dimensionally rather than in the block itself. This means the same storage is reachable from every Dimensional Chest you place, so you can build one at your base and another at a mining outpost and access identical contents from either.

Use it as a shared inventory between locations: deposit ores at the outpost chest, then open the chest at home to withdraw them. Because the contents are tied to the dimensional storage rather than the block, breaking and replacing a chest does not lose what you stored.

Expanding Capacity

If you need more room, craft additional Dimensional Chests and place them wherever you need access points. Each one opens the same storage, so you are adding entry points rather than separate inventories. Keep a Dimensional Core and spare Dimensional Wall blocks on hand so you can craft more chests on site instead of carrying items back and forth.
