How to Craft the Overworld, Nether, and End Paintings

Three Separate Shaped Recipes

The mod contains three themed paintings: Overworld Painting, Nether Painting, and End Painting. Each one is made with its own shaped crafting recipe. They are not interchangeable — you must craft each type separately using the correct ingredients and layout.

Crafting Each Painting

Open a crafting table and follow the shaped recipe for the painting you want. The Overworld Painting uses its own ingredient set, the Nether Painting uses another, and the End Painting uses a third. Check the recipe book or a recipe viewer to see the exact grid layout for each. Place the ingredients in the precise pattern; shaped recipes will not accept a rearranged grid.

Why Craft All Three

You need one of each themed painting to make a Custom Painting. If your goal is the Custom Painting, craft an Overworld Painting, a Nether Painting, and an End Painting before heading to the combining step. Crafting them one at a time and storing them in a chest keeps the process organized.

Stocking Up

Because every Custom Painting consumes one of each themed painting, craft extras if you plan to make several. The three themed paintings are the only intermediates, so once you have a stack of each, you can produce Custom Paintings repeatedly without returning to gather ingredients.
