How to Get Out of Limbo in Dimensional Doors

Find a Way Out

Limbo is the void dimension you fall into when a dimensional door collapses or you enter a broken rift. There is no natural terrain, only scattered platforms and floating debris. Your goal is to locate an exit door or rift that leads back to the Overworld.

Look for a Gold Door or a Driftwood Door placed on a platform. These are the standard exits. Walk up to it and use it like any door — right-click to open and step through. If you see a Fabric of Finality block nearby, it often marks a stable exit point.

If You Cannot Find a Door

If no door is visible, search for Enduring Fibers or Fabric of Finality blocks. These are tied to exit mechanics and can be used to stabilise a rift. Craft a Fuzzy Fireball if you have the materials — throwing it can disrupt unstable rift geometry and may open a path.

Equip the Garment of Reality set (Boots, Chestplate, Leggings) if you have it. Wearing the full set reduces the damage Limbo deals and helps you survive long enough to find an exit. Without it, move quickly and avoid falling into the void.

If you are truly stuck, the only reliable escape is to find a Gold Door or Driftwood Door. There is no crafting recipe that creates an exit from nothing inside Limbo — you must locate an existing one.
