Use Portals for Fast Travel Without Building

Understand Portal Mechanics

Dimensional Breach portals function as natural Nether gateways. Unlike player-built frames, they're already active and ready to use:

1. Approach any discovered portal structure

2. Walk through the purple Nether portal block to enter the Nether

3. You'll arrive at a corresponding location in the Nether

4. Use a return portal or build your own frame to get back

Plan Your Travel Routes

1. Map out multiple portal locations across different biomes

2. Remember that Nether travel is 8 times faster than Overworld travel—portals spaced far apart in the Overworld are much closer in the Nether

3. Use portals strategically to reach distant bases or resource areas quickly

4. Mark portal locations with signs or waypoints for easy navigation

This eliminates the need to craft and place obsidian frames. However, some portals spawn with dangerous hazards (lava, mobs), so scout them during daylight or with preparation before using them as regular travel routes.
