Run Distant Horizons in singleplayer without crashes

Prepare your mods folder

For a stable singleplayer setup with Distant Horizons and MPEM:

1. Place Distant Horizons in your mods folder

2. Place MPEM in your mods folder

3. Place DHMPEMFixer in your mods folder

4. Launch the game normally

Load your world

Once the game starts:

1. Go to Singleplayer

2. Create a new world or load an existing one

3.

The fixer prevents the null pointer errors that would normally occur when these two mods conflict. You should see no special messages or warnings; the mod works entirely behind the scenes.

Confirm it's working

If your world loads and you can see far-away terrain rendered by Distant Horizons without the game crashing, the fix is active. If you experience a crash mentioning proxy or packet fields, check your mods folder to ensure DHMPEMFixer is present and that Forge loaded it successfully.
