How to Purify Water in the Dehydration Mod

Using a Campfire Cauldron

Place a Campfire Cauldron and fill it with water. The smelting recipe type handles purification here: raw water goes in, Purified Water comes out. Once processed, you can scoop the result with a bucket to obtain a Purified Water Bucket, or use it directly to fill a Leather Flask.

Using a Copper Cauldron

A Copper Cauldron works the same way as the Campfire Cauldron for purification. Fill it with water, let it process, and collect Purified Water. The Copper Cauldron is the upgrade path if you want a more durable purification station.

Filling Your Flask

With Purified Water ready, craft a Leather Flask and fill it from either cauldron. Drink from the flask to restore hydration without the negative effects of untreated water. Refill the flask at any cauldron whenever it runs dry.

Why Purify

Drinking raw water directly causes dehydration penalties. Always run water through a Campfire Cauldron or Copper Cauldron first, then store it in a Leather Flask for travel. Keep a spare Purified Water Bucket at your base so you can quickly refill flasks before heading out.
