How to Fix Dehydration: Full Recovery Steps

Stop the Drain

Dehydration builds when you go without drinking. The fastest fix is to drink Purified Water from a Leather Flask. If you have no flask, purify water at a Campfire Cauldron and drink directly from a Purified Water Bucket.

Get Clean Water Fast

If no cauldron is set up, build one immediately. Place a Campfire Cauldron, light a fire under it, and process dirty water into Purified Water. Drinking untreated water will not solve the problem reliably, so purify first.

Restore and Prevent

After drinking, refill your flask so the next drop does not catch you off guard. Upgrade to an Iron Leather Flask or higher so you carry more water between refills. Set up a Rainwater Collector near your base to keep a steady supply on hand.

Build a Safety Net

Keep a filled flask in your inventory at all times, and place a Copper Cauldron at your main base as a backup purification point. A Bamboo Pump can keep that cauldron fed automatically from a Rainwater Collector.

Recovery Checklist

Drink from a flask, purify more water if empty, refill the flask, and upgrade capacity when you can. Repeat this loop and dehydration stops being a threat.
