How to Light a Room with Braziers, Soul Braziers, and Chandeliers

Standing lights

Craft Brazier and Soul Brazier and place them on floors as standing fire sources. Brazier gives a warm flame; Soul Brazier gives the soul-fire look. Set them at gateposts, along a path, or in the corners of a hall. Both are solid enough to read as furniture rather than torches.

Hanging lights

Craft Chandelier and Soul Chandelier and hang them from ceilings. For a longer drop, place Big Chain first and attach the Chandelier or Soul Chandelier at the bottom of the chain run. This lets you light a tall room from a high ceiling without a floor stand.

Planning a lighting scheme

Use Braziers where players walk at ground level, and Chandeliers where the ceiling is high. Pair a Brazier with a Soul Brazier at the same doorway to contrast warm and soul flames. In a stairwell, run Big Chain down the open side and cap it with a Chandelier so the light lands mid-flight. Keep Soul Chandeliers for rooms where you want the cooler tone, and standard Chandeliers for halls and entries.
