When to use the stonecutter

Most decorative blocks in this set come from shaped crafting recipes at a crafting table. Stone Pillar is the block that also has a stonecutting recipe, so take your stone material to a stonecutter to produce Stone Pillar instead of crafting it. This is the faster route when you are producing Stone Pillar in bulk for a colonnade or a cellar.

Planning a build order

Decide the stone pieces first, since Stone Pillar is the structural anchor for many builds. Cut a batch at the stonecutter, then craft the wood shapes you need: Beam, Support, Seat, and Palisade in your chosen wood. Add Lattice, Bar Panel, and Big Chain for openwork and hanging elements, and finish with Brazier, Soul Brazier, Chandelier, or Soul Chandelier for light.

Keeping stock

Because the wood shapes repeat across every wood type, keep a chest of planks per wood and craft shapes on demand. Keep a separate chest for Stone Pillar, Rocky Dirt, Lattice, Bar Panel, and Big Chain so structural and decorative parts stay sorted. That way a build session does not stall waiting on one missing shape.
