Understanding the Overlay Changes

When fighting undead mobs from The Undead Revamped mod, your screen may still display colored overlays (yellow gas, purple fog, or other effects). This resource pack softens these overlays so you can see enemies and terrain clearly while still receiving visual feedback.

How the Pack Works

The Deceased Craft Screen Tweak modifies the texture files that create full-screen effects. Instead of blocking your view with heavy, opaque overlays, the pack replaces them with semi-transparent or desaturated versions.

What to Expect

You'll notice:

• Yellow gas effects become much lighter and less distracting
• Purple fog overlays reduce in opacity
• On-screen alerts remain visible but less intrusive
• Your ability to track enemy positions improves significantly

The overlays still appear—they just won't obscure your vision during intense fights. If you want to disable overlays entirely, you would need to edit the resource pack's texture files directly, but the default behavior of this pack is to soften rather than remove them completely.
