Choosing the Right Fence Piece

The mod provides three iron fence options: Black Wrought Iron Fence, Black Reinforced Wrought Iron Fence, and Black Wrought Iron Baluster. The plain Fence is the lightest visually and works for garden boundaries and low dividers. The Reinforced Fence is heavier and reads as a stronger barrier — use it where the fence needs to look load-bearing, such as around a courtyard or along a raised terrace. The Baluster is a vertical post piece; place it in a row to form a railing rather than a fence.

All three are crafted at a crafting table using shaped recipes. Craft a batch of each before you start placing, since fences are placed in long runs.

Combining with Wood and Stone

Set Black Wrought Iron Fence on top of a low wall of Cobbled Limestone or Covered Sandstone Wall to raise the barrier without adding height to the stone. Run Black Wrought Iron Baluster along the edge of a balcony or stairwell, spacing them one block apart with a Beam or Edge rail on top. Use Black Reinforced Wrought Iron Fence as a gate surround, with a Charred Spruce Fence Gate or a Charred Spruce Door set into the gap.

For a covered entry, place a Charred Spruce Pergola above the fence line and hang a Candlestick from the underside. The iron fence stays as the lower boundary while the pergola frames the top.
