The Petrified Wood Set

Petrified Log is the base block. From it you get Petrified Planks, and from the planks you get the full wooden set: Petrified Slab, Petrified Stairs, Petrified Fence, Petrified Fence Gate, Petrified Door, Petrified Button, Petrified Pressure Plate, Petrified Bookshelf, Petrified Post, and Petrified Hanging Sign. Petrified Roots and Petrified Boards are separate decorative blocks in the same family.

Boats and Storage

Petrified Boat and Petrified Boat with Chest are both available. Craft a Petrified Boat from Petrified Planks, and the chest variant from the same planks plus a chest. Use them on water in the Darker Depths — the Petrified Boat with Chest lets you carry loot while you explore without leaving a trail of dropped items.

Building a Base

Use Petrified Planks for walls and floors, Petrified Log for corner posts, and Petrified Post for interior columns. Petrified Fence and Petrified Fence Gate enclose an area without blocking sightlines. Petrified Door seals a room, and Petrified Pressure Plate gives you an automatic entry. Petrified Bookshelf is a decorative storage-look block — place it against a wall of Petrified Planks. Petrified Hanging Sign labels rooms. Petrified Roots and Petrified Boards fill in floor and ceiling detail so the build does not read as flat planks.
