How to Build a Vector Plate Launch Track

Choosing the Right Vector Plate

Vector Plate, Fast Vector Plate, Extreme Vector Plate and Ultra Vector Plate all push entities that step on them. Place them in a line pointing the same direction to build a launch track. Use Vector Plate for short hops, Fast Vector Plate when you want the entity to keep momentum, Extreme Vector Plate for long throws, and Ultra Vector Plate when you need the strongest push available.

Chaining Plates Together

Lay the plates flat on the ground in a row. Each plate pushes whatever stands on it toward the direction it faces, so rotate each one to match the track. Mix in Slow Fall Plate at the landing zone so the launched entity does not take fall damage, and Anchor Plate if you want to stop movement at a specific point. Fast Vector Plate pairs well with Slow Fall Plate for safe long-distance travel, while Extreme Vector Plate and Ultra Vector Plate are better for traps that fling mobs into a pit or over a wall. Test the track with a single mob before running it at full length, and adjust the plate order until the trajectory lands where you want.
