Use Dark Mode Alongside Other Texture Packs

Compatibility Overview

Dark Mode Skyblock is designed to work alongside other resource packs without creating conflicts or overlapping textures. This allows you to combine it with cosmetic or utility packs for a customized experience.

Loading Order Tips

1. Place Dark Mode lower in your pack list — if you have multiple packs, position Dark Mode below cosmetic or decorative packs so its darkening effects apply on top.

2. Test for conflicts — load both packs together and check a few key areas (Dwarven Mines, The End) to ensure textures blend smoothly.

3. Disable conflicting packs if needed — if another pack also modifies mining zone textures, one may override the other; test which combination you prefer.

Recommended Combinations

  • Cosmetic packs (armor, item skins) — work seamlessly with Dark Mode
  • UI/HUD packs — no conflicts; Dark Mode only affects block textures
  • Other brightness mods — avoid stacking multiple packs that darken the same blocks, as results may be unpredictable

The vanilla art style is preserved, so Dark Mode integrates cleanly with most community packs without requiring special configuration.
